Pippi moves in along with her companions, Horse and Mr. Nillson to Villa Villekula, a residence in a small Swedish village. Tommy and Annika, the 2 children who live across from Villa Villekula are finding their lives quite boring. That is, until they met their new neighbour who just moved back into Villa Villekula, and they become friends. Tommy and Annika are very excited about the adventures and stories that they share with Pippi. Meanwhile, at the police station, the adults reported to the police that they are sure that this crazy, unbelievably strong free-spirited girl with wild imagination and no parental supervision will cause trouble all the way. All the townsfolk feel that the village will be compeletely different with Pippi living in their village.

One early morning, Pippi was doing some exercises with Mr. Nillson, until she heard a sound of a bell. She thought it was from her father’s ship, but when she went out, she saw Tommy and Annika on their way to school. Pippi has never been there before. When she realizes that she is missing out on certain holidays, she decides to go to the local school that Tommy and Annika attend and see what it’s like. However, she tends to say some funny stuff that the children find very amusing, but with the teacher finding it strange about her remarks.

Pippi pretends to not know that they are trying to steal her gold coins. Later, when Pippi is asleep, the two crooks try to steal the gold again. Pippi lets them grab the gold, but when the two burglars reach the door, Pippi blocks them and puts the gold aside. When the burglars try and grab the gold again, Pippi takes them into the living room and wants to dance The Schottish with them. Thunder-Karlsson tells Pippi that he’s an expert at that dance, and thinks he can tire her out and then sneak away with the gold.

An early winter in the village causes the harbour to freeze over. However, when Pippi and her friends learn that there’s a boat in the harbour that’s stuck in the ice. Pippi recognizes it as the boat she sailed with her dad. When Pippi gets on the ship, she gets reunited with her father and her crew. Pippi goes home and invites Tommy and Annika along with her to come along with her along with Tommy and Annika’s parents’ permission. Pippi teaches the Settegrens how to cope with life in the seas, like teaching how to be lookouts and what to do when pirates attack. Little do they know that Thunder-Karlsson and Bloom are hiding in the lifeboat. However, once they’ve got to the island. Captain Lonstocking tells Pippi and her friends that the lifeboat was missing.

Meanwhile, Thunder-Karlsson and Bloom take the suits on the windowsill and disguise themselves as real estate agents. The man pays them $1500 for it, but doesn’t realize that he was tricked by two crooks pretending to be real estate agents.

After visiting Pippi’s house to show her Tommy and Annika new uniforms, which got very dusty as Pippi showed them her dad’s old balloon. When Annika and Tommy got home, their mother got furious with them and punished them to weed the gardens. Tommy and Annika felt unappreciated cause they got blamed and punished for something they didn’t do. So they decide to run away from their house along with Pippi in the balloon. As they fly to another town, two dangerous thugs barge into the balloon. However, the crooks try to take advantage of Pippi, Annika, and Tommy with the balloon by ordering Pippi to fly to the mountains, but she refuses. However, Pippi manages to toss the crooks off the balloon and she tells Kling and Klang that they captured the two most wanted criminals that attempted to escape in Pippi’s balloon.
